Nic Shot Calculator

Below you’ll find our simple nicotine shot calculator to help you with your nicotine levels in 50ml & 100ml bottles.

simple Nic shot calculator

A nicotine shot calculator is a tool used to determine the amount of nicotine-containing liquid (nicotine shot) that needs to be added to a nicotine-free e-liquid to achieve a desired nicotine concentration. This is commonly used by vapers who mix their own e-liquids.

To use a nicotine shot calculator, you’ll need the following information:

  1. Desired Nicotine Strength: The nicotine concentration you want in your final e-liquid. Common values are expressed in milligrams per milliliter (mg/mL).

  2. Base E-Liquid Nicotine Strength: The nicotine concentration of the nicotine-free e-liquid you’re starting with. This is typically 0 mg/mL.

  3. Nicotine Shot Nicotine Strength: The concentration of nicotine in the nicotine shot you have. Common strengths are often 18 mg/mL or 20 mg/mL.

  4. Volume of E-Liquid to Be Mixed: The total volume of e-liquid you want to end up with, usually measured in milliliters (mL).

With this information, you can calculate how much nicotine shot to add using the following formula:

Amount of Nicotine Shot (mL) = (Desired Nicotine Strength * Volume of E-Liquid) / Nicotine Shot Nicotine Strength

Here’s how to use the formula with an example:

Let’s say you have 50 mL of nicotine-free base e-liquid (0 mg/mL) and you want to create a 6 mg/mL nicotine strength e-liquid using 18 mg/mL nicotine shots.

Desired Nicotine Strength: 6 mg/mL Base E-Liquid Nicotine Strength: 0 mg/mL Nicotine Shot Nicotine Strength: 18 mg/mL Volume of E-Liquid to Be Mixed: 50 mL

Amount of Nicotine Shot (mL) = (6 * 50) / 18 Amount of Nicotine Shot (mL) ≈ 16.67 mL

In this case, you would need to add approximately 16.67 mL of 18 mg/mL nicotine shot to your 50 mL nicotine-free base e-liquid to achieve a final e-liquid with a nicotine strength of 6 mg/mL.

Remember to always handle nicotine-containing products with care and follow proper safety precautions, as nicotine can be toxic if mishandled. Also, make sure to double-check the calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy.

Simple VG/PG Calculator

PG-VG-calculator-table.jpg

A VG/PG calculator is used to determine the amounts of vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG) to mix when creating e-liquids for vaping. VG and PG are the two primary base liquids used in e-liquid formulations, and their ratio can affect factors such as vapour production, throat hit, and flavor intensity.

To use a VG/PG calculator, you’ll need the following information:

  1. Desired VG/PG Ratio: The ratio of VG to PG that you want in your e-liquid. This is usually expressed as a percentage, such as 70/30 (70% VG and 30% PG), 50/50 (50% VG and 50% PG), etc.

  2. Total Volume of E-Liquid: The total amount of e-liquid you want to create, usually measured in milliliters (mL).

With this information, you can calculate the amounts of VG and PG needed using the following formulas:

Amount of VG (mL) = Total Volume of E-Liquid * (Desired VG Ratio / 100) Amount of PG (mL) = Total Volume of E-Liquid * (Desired PG Ratio / 100)

Here’s an example using a 70/30 VG/PG ratio for a total volume of 30 mL of e-liquid:

Desired VG/PG Ratio: 70/30 Total Volume of E-Liquid: 30 mL

Amount of VG (mL) = 30 * (70 / 100) = 21 mL Amount of PG (mL) = 30 * (30 / 100) = 9 mL

In this case, you would need to mix 21 mL of VG and 9 mL of PG to create 30 mL of e-liquid with a 70/30 VG/PG ratio.

Remember that the ratios can affect the overall vaping experience, so adjust the VG/PG ratio to your preferences. Also, make sure to double-check your calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy when mixing your e-liquids.
